Sòs Pwa Nwa - 25 in.

Inspired by a Haitian staple dish going by the same name, ‘Sòs Pwa Nwa’ incorporates the deep colors found when black beans are cooked, blended, and served to be enjoyed over white rice, bulgar wheat, or mayi moulen. Beans of abundant varieties can be found all over the African diaspora, enjoyed in several forms.

When wearing this piece, I hope you carry the ancestral history that brought us here, that gave us the dish that has nourished generations.
